The lodge was decorated in deep navy blue and blush pink. Guests took their seats under the sweeping tuille and string lights in the rafters as the ceremony began. Every detail that was part of Christina and Caleb's wedding day pointed right back to the Lord and His goodness. Beginning their Ceremony was a prayer by the Department Chair from Liberty University School of Divinity where they studied, worked, and first laid eyes in each other. Christina and Caleb were SO excited to do a first look, and Mead Lake Lodge had so many beautiful places to do it. Caleb, dressed in his Air Force blues, waited patiently and eagerly on a dock to see his beautiful bride for the first time on their wedding day. As he waited, he was singing his favorite hymn at the top of his lungs out over the water. Inside the lodge, Christina's bridesmaids finished her hair and makeup and she made her way down to meet Caleb.

Oh my goodness, Christina and Caleb are literally the most joy-filled, sweet, and encouraging couple you will ever meet! We fell in love with them and their story long before ever meeting them for the first time. They met at Liberty University's School of Divinity, where Caleb was studying to become a chaplain in the Air Force and Christina was the secretary for the office. She was the first girl he met on his first day of grad school. He said he was smitten from the very first moment he saw her.

Their grand entrance led into their sweet first dance as husband and wife, followed immediately by the amaaaaaaazing brunch buffet. Who doesn't want a huge french toast breakfast at their reception?! SO GOOD. After speeches and toasts from her father, her baby sister, and his best man over mimosas, we stepped back outside for the father-daughter and mother-son dance. But we had no idea what was about to happen.

The Historic Post Office thundered as Bennett and Amanda were introduced as "Mr. and Mrs. Stofer" for the first time. The venue was beautifully decorated in gold and white linen accents, with luscious red and blush pink roses everywhere. To continue the amazing musical talent throughout their day, Bennett and Amanda required that each table sing a love song a capella before they could be dismissed to get their food! It was hilarious and so sweet.

Amanda and Bennett's bridal party was so much fun! They had an incredible joyful spirit and were totally devoted to them. Right after the ceremony, we rushed out of the church and took to the streets for portraits together. We stopped traffic in downtown Hampton and the whole city knew this amazing couple was married and very, very loved. After some shenanigans with everybody, we took Bennett and Amanda down to the waterside for their first intimate photos as husband and wife in the warm evening sun.

Amanda and Bennett created a beautiful ceremony together. It was centered on the Lord and on the covenant they were making together before Him. The music being played as it began, "Be Thou My Vision" and "Take my Life" were a perfect proclamation of what was happening.
