Emanuel & Chloe's International Vintage Wedding at The Kyle House, Virginia

Emy and Chloe Wedding Day-460.jpg

Emy & Chloe’s wedding was filled with both of their rich heritages as family from all over the world filled The Kyle House on their wedding day. It’s a 300-year-old property with beautifully decorated plaster walls and well-worn floors. The lush draperies accented the lace table runners, large old candelabras, and giant fresh hydrangeas. The romantic ceremony took place in a very, very old storage barn next door, lit with candles and chandeliers.

Chloe wore a pair of earrings from her grandmother back in South Africa. She wasn’t able to attend, but she did host an all-night Livestream party for the rest of the nieces and nephews and cousins! Her granddad did come, though, and to watch his love for them the way he prophesied and spoke blessings over them, the way he could hardly keep from weeping as he exhorted them in the Lord - it was breathtaking. The Spirit of the Lord lay heavy over this ceremony and brought us all to tears.

Their reception was a packed house, with every room featuring another buffet line of international foods. The gents enjoyed the bar downstairs while the kids played upstairs, and guests from worlds apart were having great conversations together. It was a beautiful portrait of the community in the body of Messiah, and a wedding that we are so, so grateful to have been part of. Enjoy these highlights from some of our favorite moments!
