Steven & Mary's Sunset Engagement Session at Devil's Marbleyard

Steven & Mary have had to alter their plans for their engagement session and totally re-plan their wedding due to the COVID-19 outbreak - both were supposed to take place in Virginia’s national parks, which are almost entirely closed down. It’s been a challenging couple of months, but once this is all over, oh, the stories they’ll be able to tell! And climbing up to the top of Devil’s Marbleyard for their engagement session is one of those great stories. They braved a strenuous climb up the mountain to the base of the Marbleyard AND climbed over 300ft straight up the steep rock face until we were above the tree line. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The storm clouds were breaking over the blue ridge and the new moon was rising as the sun went down.

We seriously have THE BEST couples! They have taken this uncertain time with so much grace and strength, and have found beauty in the midst of it. We know their wedding day is going to be beautiful too.
