Jameson & Anna's Engagement Session in Downtown Danville, Virginia

We’ve been blessed to have known Anna and her family for many years. When we got the email from her that she was engaged, we were so excited that she and Jameson chose us to be their wedding photographers. We already knew and loved Anna, and we couldn’t wait to meet the man she chose to marry. She picked a good one!

Jameson and her met in their church’s small group. He’s a guitarist and she’s a pianist, so they had many opportunities to spend time together. They had known each other for a couple of years when she invited him to her school’s junior-senior banquet, but they were still “just friends.” When they both went off to the same college, Jameson finally made his move. He started texting her all the time. And she texted back all the time. It wasn’t too long before he found himself sitting down with her father to ask his permission to marry Anna.

They chose the historic downtown River District in Danville, Virginia for their engagement session. It was a quiet January afternoon, with almost sub-freezing temperatures - but the sun was shining and it almost seemed like we had the town to ourselves. We had a great time exploring the riverfront together and captured SO many sweet moments of the two of them. Here are just a few of our favorites!
