He plays the violin and she plays the viola. It was one of the first things we learned about Timothy and Emily, and that's the perfect illustration of how well they complement each other. He's outgoing and loves people, even taking it upon himself to personally greet the 200+ wedding guests as they arrived; she's more introverted and quiet, choosing to spend her last few minutes in prayer with her bridesmaids before making their way to the alter.

Their wedding day was an incredible experience and a beautiful expression of their multicultural backgrounds. Timothy's heritage is Polish and Arab-Israeli; Emily's is Italian. They were married in an Anglican church in an old warehouse, decorated with massive garlands of eucalyptus, fresh roses and sunflowers. The beautiful Anglican service spanned 2-1/2 hours of worship, teaching, exortation, communion, and covenant vows -- then it was time to party! The night's music ranged from sweet slow dances, to the waltz, to traditional Polish dancing, to a thunderous Arab rave. The night ended in worship though, as all the remaining guests gathered outside and sang one more a capalla hymn together.

Tim and Emily, thank you for bringing us all the way to Chicago for your amazing wedding day. We'll never forget your hospitality, your joyfulness, and your love for one another.
