Robert & Megan

They got married in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina that they love so much, just north of Asheville at The Fields at Blackberry Cove. Megan’s design was inspired by French countryside gardens. Moss-covered stone walls lined the property. The barn was partially hidden under the ivy creeping up its walls. Inside, it was decorated with white linens, baskets of greenery, and floral wreaths. Guests even received individual packets of seeds to plant in their own garden at home.

The mountains were a shield for the storms and rain all around them on this warm June day. Down in the valley, it was warm and glowing with sunshine. After their ceremony at the base of the hill under the trees, we returned to the barn for a delicious dinner, desserts, and dancing until the sun had dropped behind the mountains.

It was a wonderful day with old friends and an honor to see these two get married. Robert & Megan, thank you for your hospitality! It’s warms our hearts to see how happy you make each other!
