Their first class together in college, he saw her from across the room and immediately began hatching a plan to meet her. But neither of them expected to becomes such good friends, so quickly.
She said he fit so perfectly in every area of her life. He could even interpret her thoughts better than she could herself. And for him, she brought some much needed energy and chaos to his orderly, meticulous life.
I remember writing the blog for their engagement session, and we hoped that they wouldn’t have to change their plans due to the pandemic. That’s not how things worked out. They had to change their plans SO many times, including venue after venue change.
But finally, 8 days before their wedding, they finalized their plans for the last time - at the amazingly beautiful Vaughan House Greenhouse.
There were many people missing from their wedding day, but their parents and a few of their dearest friends were able to join them in the greenhouse for their ceremony. And even Stephanie’s best friend was able to FaceTime her on the way to the wedding, with her Maid of Honor dress on and having a long-distance party of their own!
There wasn’t a dry eye in the greenhouse as they exchanged vows. It was so beautiful. Afterward, they had a picnic on the Potting Deck at the Greenhouse with homemade cupcakes and charcuterie boards. And we can’t wait to celebrate with them in the fall with ALL of the rest of their guests!
