Caleb and Christina's reception at Mead Lake Lodge was so beautifully decorated. Less is often more, and their table centerpieces and subtle use of blush pink and gold throughout the venue was perfect. While we were out taking portraits on the property, guests inside enjoyed hor d'oeuvres before dinner was served. Their two-piece jazz band, Andy Benton and Robert Nanton, were incredible - but when it came time for first dances, Caleb stole the show by not only dancing (on a recently torn ACL, no less) but also SINGING their first dance song!

When we toured Mead Lake Lodge before the wedding, Christina kept talking about how beautiful the property was and how much she loved all the greenery and water. We knew we had to use that natural beauty whenever possible, so we took them to some of their favorite locations on the property to get their first portraits together. We went for a walk in the forest right before their ceremony, then we went down to the lake again as the skies cleared for an incredible sunset!
